What is Axonris Platform
Forge doesn’t ship as a bare .exe you just download and run. It runs through Axonris Platform — one account that everything Axonris ships plugs into. This page explains why, and what that account layer is actually building toward.
The account layer is the point, not an obstacle
Sign-in exists for a real reason: it’s the security and access layer a paid product needs, and the same identity that will eventually cover a forum, feature voting, and a beta waitlist. It’s not a marketing gate bolted onto a free tool — it’s the foundation the rest of Platform is built on.
One catalog, not one app
Forge is the first listing in Platform’s catalog, but the catalog itself isn’t limited to tools we build. Every listing carries its own publisher and its own price, separate from Axonris’s own modules — the manifest format and account layer already support a module that isn’t ours. No third party has published yet, but the mechanism — checksum verification, isolated process launch, a module never seeing another module’s data — is real, not aspirational.
Where this is going
The same account is the plan for a Forum and a News feed as Platform grows. Neither is live yet, but the identity/manifest layer underneath is already built with that in mind — it’s not a bolt-on planned for later, it’s the same foundation Forge already runs on today.
What this means for you right now
Practically, today: one GitHub sign-in gets you Forge, free during beta. As Platform grows, that same account is what future modules, community features, and (eventually) a paid tier will run through — you won’t need a second account for any of it.
See Getting Started to install Forge itself, or the Platform catalog to see what’s listed today.
